Trade-A-Thon Deal - Trade # 33

Card Show

I went to Capital City mall for a small show 8-10 dealers.  I wasn't look for anything in particular  but did find some newer basketball including a couple Dion Waiters I needed, some new Ravens rookies and some 2020 stuff I haven't had a chance to pick up since this was my first show since January or February due to Covid..... My main purchase was from a dealer I see all the time at local shows but don't think I've ever bought from him this time he had a 3500 count box of autographs he said pick a bunch and I'll give you a deal I started looking and 3 of the first 5 cards were Kevin Mawae's so I started pulling found a bunch of Flyers and former Ravens and also came across a Paul Coffey! These 2 trades are also from the twitter thread claim and leave.  First is a Jake Rogers 2020 Panini Diamond Kings #DKMS-JR Jersey/Auto cool card I actual like this even with no logos maybe because he's a catcher with gear on not as noticeable. The second trade was for a couple Ravens rookies I didn't have Duvernay & Huntley and they throw in Brown and a Huddle card. The last 3 are 3 older Ravens from 2011 Donruss Elite.

Freebies

I went to Dave's house to watch the Browns Ravens opening day game on Sunday.  With the pandemic he's doing some cleaning and gave me a bunch of used top loaders and some Dan Marino PC cards along with a 1995 Darius Holland autograph also mixed in a few Joe Montana's and a Steve Young.

So saved the best for last it's only 1 autograph but it is an 8x10 of Odell Beckham Jr. It's a 2014 Rookie Panini Authentic Signature. It has a nice picture from the draft holding his 1st round Giants jersey and sporting a new Giants hat.

Lance Alworth

I added this Beckett Authentic encapsulated autographed 3x5 of Lance Alworth to my Football HOF collection.  Lance is the 218th autograph in the HOF collection.  I purchased this on EBay using the HAPPY25 $25 off code last week. So was very affordable and a nice addition at less than $10. His nickname was Bambi and played mostly for the San Diego Chargers 1962-70 & a couple seasons with the Dallas Cowboys 1971-72, He was enshrined into the Hall of Fame in 1978.

 The passing of Hall of Famer Tom Seaver at the age of 75 is especially sad new to me as he was my favorite player growing up and childhood Idol I still wear # 41 in my Adult over 35 baseball leagues and my oldest sons middle name is Seaver.  I can only think of all the enjoyable and great games I watched him pitch as I grow up.  #RIP 😢
