Scott Stapp York PA

I went to the Pullo Center in York, PA last night to see the acoustic concert by former lead singer of Creed Scott Stapp along with opening acts Art of Dying (Who I actually went for) & Willet.  Was a great time and show Willet opened with a quick 4 song 20 minute set and then Art of Dying 8 song set of about 45 minutes and Scott played for 90 minutes and 14-15 songs as they added a tribute to Chris Cornell (Black Hole Sun) that isn't on the setlist if your into this genre of music the tribute and performance has gone national on Blabbermouth, Loudwire, youtube alternativention etc websites.  I was able to get autographs of everyone but Scott Stapp I didn't pay for the M&G that went to Child Fund Charity and waited about half an hour after the show and went home.

Metallica in Philly

Friday night Dave my son Eric and I went to the Metallica show in Philly. The was also supposed to have Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat as opening acts only one of them made as Synyster Gates' wife went into labor and A7X didn't play this show would have been more disappointing if I had not just seen the full show from A7X and Volbeat 3 days earlier in Hershey PA so I wasn't as disappointed as some were of the news.  The show started an hour later and they had some DJ Mix Master Mike who wasn't very good, would have just rather heard the songs he had but..... Then Metallica hit the stage and played for about 2 hours and 15 minutes played almost everything I wanted to hear except Fuel but in it's place they played Creeping Death so it's all good was a great show Big Screens, fireworks, lasers, fire etc....... as you would expect from a stadium show and they didn't disappoint.  This is the 3rd time seeing them (1988 & 1998) and this was the best show by far had it all!

Tim Tebow & Columbia Fireflies @ Delmarva

Most of what we saw in Delmarva

Keith and I had schedule to take a half day off work and make the trek to Salisbury, MD to see the Columbia Fireflies and Tim Tebow vs. Dalmarva Shorebirds for a newly scheduled 6:05 Doubleheader the  problem was the weather, as it was SUPPOSED to be a chance of showers turned out to be 3 1/2 hours of rain for the drive down  and then 2 hours standing in the rain from the gates opening at 5pm until Columbia came out to warm up close to 7 pm for a few minutes until they were told to go back into the locker as more rain was coming.  Tebow did sign a couple autographs before warming up and then more after they were told to go back to locker room problem being it had started to rain again and Tim used his pen by the time I was able to drop my SI to him it was pretty much a spent sharpie see pictures below. I was able to get Luis Carpio and Jonathan Hurst on cards I had before the Tebow began signing.  So almost a total wash out as it was an 11 hour adventure didn't see 1 pitch and got an almost readable autograph from Tebow and 6 cards signed. Oh well maybe another time lol you collect regularly stuff happens.  I did get a SGA Delmarva Shorebirds hat as we were 1 of the 1st 500.
