BGS Submissions

I had submitted a few HOF autographs that I didn't get in person so was never sure if they were legit most of these where submitted in April at the Chantilly VA show a buddy was submitting a bunch so he did mine with his of the 13 items I submitted 10 came back good 3 didn't including Bob Hope, George Brett & LaDainian Tomlinson.  The other 10 are shown below and are Ray Dandridge, Roger Staubach, Bud Grant, Bill Polian, Waite Hoyt, Mick Tinglehoff, Bill Dudley, Kevin Greene, Whitey Herzog & Bert Olmstead.

High Point Rockers

Last night I went to York, PA for post game autographs of the visiting High Point Rockers.  A couple guys I wanted were not there as Cam Bedrosian had just pitched and didn't make the trip and either did injured Colin Moran. I was able to get everyone else I had items for 6 players for a total of 48 autographs so was a good night plus that this is the only time in York and the only chance I would have to get them.  Below is who and pictures of the items.

Mikal Bridges

I while ago I won a giveaway from COMC.com (Check Out My Cards) on X.  It was for 2 cards first was a rookie autograph of Mikal Bridges 2018-19 Panini Opulence # 104 & #'d 16/25. The other card was a Jersey relic of Marc Gasol 2014-15 Panini Totally Certified #'d 114/199.  When I won they put them into my account so it took me a bit to actually get them shipped.

Long Island @ Lancaster

Today I went to the game to do pregame autographs Lancaster had 5 guys on the concourse signing so get them all on 3x5's as I didn't have anything for them.  As for Long Island I was able to get 3 players 2 were ones I went for Jackie Bradley Jr. since I realized from a friend that he was on a Sports Illustrated cover that I had from 2017, and Chance Sisco as I had a nice 8x10 and some cards since I missed him earlier in the week in York.  Below are who and what I got along with a nice picture of JBJ notice the glove is a Rawlings Gold Glove version.

Kingfish

Jim & I went to XL Live in Harrisburg PA on Wednesday,  June 26th for the Christone "Kingfish" Ingram concert with opening act Mathias Lattin.  It was a great show by 2 young blues guys as Kingfish is 25 and Lattin is 21.  I got autographs from Chris Black Drummer for Kingfish and Paul Rogers Bassist for Kingfish I had 2 8x10's for Kingfish as we had heard he usually came out to the Merch table after shows but were told not tonight.  I was talking with Chris Black and asked would see if Kingfish would sign he took them back to the room and got them signed for me very cool & nice of him! see pictures from show and autographs and links to the set-list below.

Long Island

Tuesday night I went to York for the end of the game and some post game autographs.  The game ending was great as Jackie Bradley Jr. tied the game at 9-9 with a 2 out top of the 9th inning HR. but York would win the game on a walkoff HR by David Washington in the bottom of the 10th. The win clinched the first half of the season title so York will be one of the teams in the playoffs. as for the autographs I was able to get 4 players for a total of 27 autographs.  below is who and what I got done

Staten Island

Last night I went to Lancaster to do pregame autographs of the visiting Staten Island FerryHawks.  I was able to get 7 players and 21 autographs not a bad night.  The following are who and what I got signed along with a couple pictures one is of Pablo Sandoval batting.  A former Eagle Nate McMillian was on hand to throw out the 1st pitch wish I would have known as I'm sure I have cards of him in my collection.

Jenny Lewis Concert

My friend Mike won 2 tickets to the Jenny Lewis concert on Friday June 21, 2024 at Harrisburg, PA's Riverfront Park.  Show started at 8PM with opening act Dean Johnson who played about 40 minutes. Then Jenny took the stage at about 9:15 and played a little more then an hour & an half.  We had a good time even though it was hot as..... with this heat dome we are in the middle of on the east coast.

Beckett Authentications

Ben was getting items authenticated at the CSA show back in April and asked if I had anything which of course I have some autographs that I didn't get in person or that I purchased without certs I try not to but I have acquired some, So I sent 7 football HOFers that I wanted authenticated and were just stickers added to the items these he had held until I picked up on Wednesday.  I still have an additional 10 items at Beckett that are to be slabbed(that will be a later post once received) the HOFers I had done are as follows and along with a picture of the items. Leroy Kelly, Charley Trippi, Brian Dawkins, Rayfield Wright, Forrest Gregg, George Blanda & Tex Schramm.

Ben had given me some cards for players in the Atlantic League so we did a 50/50 below if my half wasn't a lot just 3 players Cole Liniak, Ethan Lindow & Jamari Baylor. For the Baylor's Ben took bth and gave me Carson Palmquist $ a Andrew Schultz. So a total of 8 autographs.

York Revolution

I had a free ticket voucher to the York Revolution game last night so I went and did pregame autographs didn't have a lot but wound up get 3 players for a total of 6 autographs.  Who I got was Rick Forney & Tom Sutera on a game program cover and then the last 4 cards I had for Colton Welker see picture of the signed items below along with a couple pictures of former MLBers David Washington & Aaron Fletcher.

Vacation In Person Autographs
