Long Island @ Lancaster Night #2

Tonight I went to Lancaster to fill in some of the guys I missed last night I was able to get 4 players pregame for a total of 19 autographs.  The Starter last night Zach Plesac said after the game or tonight so I did get him he signed 2 8x10's and 4 cards, Then I also needed tonight's starter Juan Hillman who was very nice I asked him as soon as he hit the field and he came over and signed 11 cards Also got Sterling Sharp on the Ticket Stub and Ryley Gilliam on a card.  Below see a picture of the actual items.

Long Island @ Lancaster

I went to tonight's game to do pregame autographs.  Wasn't a great night weather was rainy delayed the start of the game 20 minutes or so.  I thought according to the roster I had seen and players for Long Island they were loaded with players I had pictures and cards of well a few weren't with the team this weekend John Gant didn't travel as he pitched last night I think Nick Tropeano is injured and not sure about Mark Matias thinking he is injured as well as he has only played 2 games this season. So I wound up with 14 autographs from 8 people. see list below and picture of the items.  I also found a Batting practice ball in lawn area in the outfield.

Truist Championship Part 2

Truist Championship 2025 Part 1

This years Truist Championship is being held near Philadelphia PA since the where the tournament usually is held at Quail Hollow but that is the site for next weeks PGA Championship.  So with PA rarely getting a PGA event and it being 2 hours from my house I went to the Wednesday Pro-Am day.  I got to the course at 9:30 and stayed until about 4 PM. It was a long day as 2 hour drive each way and shuttle time from the general parking and walking from course to pick, it up was about 45 minutes in morning and hour afterwards. So total day was more than 12 hours.  But all in all was a nice weather day which was in question last week but was clear and 75ish.  As for the autographing they had an "kids autograph zone" but all ages where there and no one said anything so that was nice.  I was able to get 40 Players and a total of 52 autographs I will list all below and also post pictures of the actual items.

Bob Griese TTM

I friend said he had sent to Mr. Griese through the mail for an autograph so in October 2024 I sent 2 cards to him with Card Saver and penny sleeve.  Saturday I got an envelope in the mail that had 1 card signed and no sleeve or card saver, I'm happy I got it back and that it got all the way from FL to PA with no damage with no protection! see the card I got back below it is a 2005 Donruss Gridiron Gear # 12 #'d 077/250.

York Revolution

I went to tonight's game verse Lancaster and did pre-game autographs for York as I didn't have a lot of either team and got most of Lancaster done at Fanfest.  I was able to get 3 players and a total of 10 autographs.  Below is a list of what I got signed and a couple pictures of the items.

I made a 1 card PWE trade with X user @bobbothe1 my side of the deal was this 1997 Donruss Signature Series Geronimo Berroa. An autograph I didn't have so good deal for a double I had. 

Penn State Blue-White Game 2025

Yesterday I made the trip to State College for the annual Blue White game.  It was a long day and it started out not so good as it rained the 2 hour ride from York.  Then I was at Gate E with about 10 other people when after 45 minutes we found out from one of the workers that they changed where all the autographs where and where we needed to enter which was now Gate A so a lost 45 minutes and further back in line when we got to Gate A.  Once in I went for the RB/OL line as I wanted Nick Singleton & Kaytron Allen I had 8x10's but you could only get the picture they handed out so not great, I was only able to go through 1 line in the 40 minutes allotted time for autographs .  All in all it was a good day I got 78 autographs in total from before during and after the game.  See the complete lists of what I got signed and some pictures from the day.  I also made a trade with Donnie Harbour I had 3 cards of him he signed 2 and asked for the 3rd so I asked for a glove he said sure no problem.

Ravens Draft Party

Dave and I went to the annual Baltimore Ravens draft day party this year it was at M&T Bank Stadium with a cost of $32 with the fees.  When we bought the tickets no guest had been announced at that time.  The event was sold out and then the 4 Guests where announced 2 Current (Trenton Simpson & Tavius Robinson) and 2 Alumni players (Ben Grubbs & Dawan Landry).  So this year they had no autograph tables or times set-up instead had the players at a photo area and doing interviews no autographs at the photos was just photos but I was able to get all 4 players as they left the interview area.  I could see that if it was different players no one would have signed but these 4 usually sign and did some here as well.  Below are pictures from the Photo Area and the interviews along with what I did get signed.

Lancaster Stormers Fanfest

Mike and I today went to the beginning of the local Baseball season with the Atlantic League.  As the Lancaster Stormers held there annual Fanfest which this year events included a team autograph session at noon and then a preseason game with the visiting Atlantic League rival Hagerstown Flying Boxcars at 1 PM.  So we went through the autograph line and basically go the the whole team most just on the autograph sheet handout they had but I did have a few items for both teams and will list those and a couple pictures I took of former major leaguers Arthur Rhodes who is the pitching coach for Hagerstown and Daniel Corcino who started the game and didn't sign before the game.  Was able to get a total of 48 autographs.

Card Show
