Baltimore Ravens Training Camp visit

Dave and I went to the Saturday July 28th practice cost was free just had to register for a parking pass due to the limits of the facility.  The practice was good, nice to see some live football again.  The rules for camp pretty much makes it useless for me tho as there are no picture taking during the actual practice times only before and after so that cuts out getting pictures to get my own pictures autographed later.  Then rule that is autographs are for 14 and under, cuts out guys that collect that are 52 years old with no young kids!  So the 2 biggest reason I would go to camp are no longer possible so not sure how many times I'll drive an hour down and back for not much thinking once a season.

I went to Lancaster today for autographs of the New Britain Bees.  Lancaster had 3 pitchers signing on the concourse, I needed one Kaleb Fleck who was with Harrisburg Senators earlier this season. I was able to get the following 10 players 18 autographs.

Long Island Ducks

I went to Lancaster for some autographs tonight since it's been raining for a week and we have received a foot of rain games have been rained out so they were playing a DH that started at 5 PM I got there late saw the end of game 1 a Lancaster 5-0 win in a swift Hour and 48 minutes for the 7 innings. Was able to get autographs between games the following is who I got 11 Players 17 Autographs.

Ben went to a Richmond game in Harrisburg the last time they were in town.  He was able to get
a few guys that I had cards of he kept some and gave me some back 6 players 8 autographs.

2018 All-Star Futures & Softball Game

Last Sunday 4 of us went to Nationals Park for the annual Futures game & Legends/Celebrity Softball game.  It was a long day we went down early thinking we might be able to get some autographs as people arrived but we were shutout stadium opened at 2 pm for batting practice so we tried to get to an area we could try for autos but with the netting up and the way Nationals Park is it wasn't easy.  We did find an area on the concourse where the softball players were doing interviews and taking batting practice in cages so was able to get some Autos there during the Futures game and then during the Softball game we went back outside the stadium for some of the Futures players until we left.  With driving time it was a total of about 14 hour day...... Then got up at 3 am to drive to Philly airport to start our vacation cruise. :)  The following is what and who I got a total of 22 people and 26 autographs:  All in all a nice day - autographs, baseball/softball, bobblehead giveaway,  Racing Presidents & Between games a couple songs performed by Florida Georgia Line!

2018 MLB Fanfest

Mike and I went to the opening day of this years MLB All-Star Fanfest.  It was a good autograph day as we were able to get 13 of the 15 attendees that were there.  The 2 we missed were the 2 HOFers Juan Marichal & Rollie Fingers which wasn't a big deal since we both had gotten them at York Sports Night events in the past.  As for the experience it was good autograph lines weren't to bad had register which is were we made a mistake not getting Marichal first we did Livan Hernandez and that locked us out of the 3 early tables we were able to get other two tables as overflow/non-register people.  Lots of freebies picture below of posters, pennants, bags, T-Shirt, Bobblehead(Zimmerman mini), Topps Custom Cards & Pictures with guests etc.  Total of 13 signers total of 47 autographs.

I went to Lancaster today to do pregame autographs.  On Sunday's Lancaster have a couple players sign for 20 minutes before the game when the gates open and Matt Marksberry was one today I have a Braves 8x10.  Also was able to get the follow New Britain players.

Last night Everett & I went to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Couldn't have been a better show The Struts opened up the show playing an 8 song 45 Minute set, Then it was 2 hours and 45 minutes of the Foo's playing some new and most of all the hits and a few covers.  Weather was great beer was cold..... getting out after the show was not great but all in all a great time.
