It's a sad day when the baseball world loses one it's truly great people as it is today with the passing of Hall of Famer Ernie Banks. I was an eleven year old boy at the 1976 little league world series, I was there with my family as we walked around the grounds we saw a group being escorted by police my dad said go ask them to sign your ball, So I did these would be the first autographs I would collect and the beginning of my life long hobby. RIP "MR. Cub". see below the ball Ernie signed for me along with Bill Shea ( Mets Shea Stadium) & Pete McGovern (Little League) . In his honor "Let's play two" today!
