Dodgers at Guardians

Here are a couple pictures from the Game Mark and I attended the day of the AC/DC concert Wednesday May 28, 2025.  It was a good game Dodgers leading most of the way the Guardians score 5 in the 8th to get the win 7-4.

AC/DC

Mark and I took a road trip to catch the last USA AC/DC show of the current tour and maybe last ever as Brian Johnson is 77 and Angus Young is 70.  The opening act for  the concert was The Pretty Reckless.  We left Wednesday morning and made the 5 1/2 hour trip from PA to Cleveland.  I saw that the Guardians were hosting the Dodgers at 1:10 as well so we made sure we left early enough to make the game and then we went to dinner and made the concert all worked out extremely well from the drive to the hotel to getting parking making the game and walking to the other stadium and having dinner to walking back to the car and back to the hotel was all smooth and went as well as it could have. Jack Nicklaus

A buddy of mine collects signed video game cartridges and had sent 2 to Jack Nicklaus and got them back and had PSA Authenticate and passed.  He mentioned that he doesn't sign trading cards but I also collect Sports Illustrated Cover which I had 4 unsigned.  So about 6 weeks ago I sent out 2 SI magazines and was pleasantly surprised today opening the front door to find the large envelope laying on my porch with Jack Nicklaus as the sender.  Jack signed both Mags and returned them in the postage paid envelope I sent along.  Very nice to get these signed I had meet him once at a senior PGA event probably in the early 1990's but I didn't get his autograph at that time, so it's nice to cross off the Hall of Famer from my golf list and add him to the collection. I usually don't do TTM but am taking this as a W since it's from the Golf GOAT!

Sports Emporium Card Show

I went basically for the Sid Bream autographs to yesterday's event but they had a card show where I found a dealer who had Bargain Boxes and then they had a sign 10 or more would be 50% off so I found 10 autographs marked $1 so got them for $5. Then after we got Sid's auto I went back and found 14 additional cards with 13 being autographs and a Ravens card /95 the total for those was $12 so not bad for less than a blaster.

Sid Bream

Jim and I went to the Sports Emporium in Carlisle PA for a card show and appearance by hometown hero Sid Bream.  Sid was signing from 12:30-2:30 was a longer line than I expected and I heard from a friend in the front of the line that Sid was signing multiple items chatting and taking pictures which adds to the time for each person.  We got in line at 12:30 and we were at the table with Sid at 2:30 so 2 hour wait.  He was very nice and I heard as we finished that he was staying to sign and meet the remaining people in line maybe 30-40 more people.  All in all a good time I was able to get 12 cards sign and took a couple pictures. see below.

Mailday

I received 2 different packages in today's mail, First was a #PWEFriday item of an oversized Dan Marino PC item from @imoMitchCards and the second was my side of a trade from at least 6 weeks ago so where lost in the USPS system but made it to me in fine shape so nothing lost..... these were 3 autographs from @WanderingPotat7. Hagerstown @ Lancaster

Last night I went to the Hagerstown FlyingBoxcars at Lancaster Stormers I did autographs before the game and was able to get a total of 17 autographs from 6 players.  Below is a listing of who I got and picture of them all, I was also able to find 2 batting practice baseballs in the lawn area grass 1 is a new one with the QR code and the other was from last year.

I won a giveaway on X from @GloudT about a week ago and it arrived today.  The card is a LJ Collier 2019 Panini Donruss Optic # 113 & #'d 22/25. Very nice looking card and an autograph I didn't have already so a great add for nothing.

Long Island @ Lancaster Night #2

Tonight I went to Lancaster to fill in some of the guys I missed last night I was able to get 4 players pregame for a total of 19 autographs.  The Starter last night Zach Plesac said after the game or tonight so I did get him he signed 2 8x10's and 4 cards, Then I also needed tonight's starter Juan Hillman who was very nice I asked him as soon as he hit the field and he came over and signed 11 cards Also got Sterling Sharp on the Ticket Stub and Ryley Gilliam on a card.  Below see a picture of the actual items.

Long Island @ Lancaster

I went to tonight's game to do pregame autographs.  Wasn't a great night weather was rainy delayed the start of the game 20 minutes or so.  I thought according to the roster I had seen and players for Long Island they were loaded with players I had pictures and cards of well a few weren't with the team this weekend John Gant didn't travel as he pitched last night I think Nick Tropeano is injured and not sure about Mark Matias thinking he is injured as well as he has only played 2 games this season. So I wound up with 14 autographs from 8 people. see list below and picture of the items.  I also found a Batting practice ball in lawn area in the outfield.

Truist Championship Part 2

Truist Championship 2025 Part 1

This years Truist Championship is being held near Philadelphia PA since the where the tournament usually is held at Quail Hollow but that is the site for next weeks PGA Championship.  So with PA rarely getting a PGA event and it being 2 hours from my house I went to the Wednesday Pro-Am day.  I got to the course at 9:30 and stayed until about 4 PM. It was a long day as 2 hour drive each way and shuttle time from the general parking and walking from course to pick, it up was about 45 minutes in morning and hour afterwards. So total day was more than 12 hours.  But all in all was a nice weather day which was in question last week but was clear and 75ish.  As for the autographing they had an "kids autograph zone" but all ages where there and no one said anything so that was nice.  I was able to get 40 Players and a total of 52 autographs I will list all below and also post pictures of the actual items.

Bob Griese TTM

I friend said he had sent to Mr. Griese through the mail for an autograph so in October 2024 I sent 2 cards to him with Card Saver and penny sleeve.  Saturday I got an envelope in the mail that had 1 card signed and no sleeve or card saver, I'm happy I got it back and that it got all the way from FL to PA with no damage with no protection! see the card I got back below it is a 2005 Donruss Gridiron Gear # 12 #'d 077/250.

York Revolution
