Five Finger Death Punch & Megadeth

Everett & I went to Hersheypark Stadium for the Saturday September 24th concert with Headliner Five Finger Death Punch and 3 warm-up acts highlighted by Megadeth along with The Hu & Fire From the Gods.  Great weather and great time didn't know the first 2 bands The Hu was interesting they are a Mongolian folk metal band & Fire from the Gods is a rap band metal from Austin, TX.  This was the 3rd time seeing Megadeth over the years going back to the opening for Heaven & Hell & The Scorpions.  FFDP was great nice stage played most of the hits I probably would have played a couple other songs for 2 they did play but this was the first time seeing them so that checks them off my top 5 need to see live bands list.  below is some links to set-lists for each band and links to you-tube videos and some pictures from kinda far away as we where towards the back of the field seats.

Dolphins @ Ravens

On Sunday, Dave and I went down the Baltimore for the Dolphins & Ravens game.  The outcome was a total disappointment up 21 (35-14) with about 12 minutes to play and then a total collapse and lose 42-38. As for autographs we did before and after, before wasn't great and after was worse, I was able to get a total of 28 players and 38 autographs.  I was also able to get Damarion "Pepe" Williams game- used headband after the game.  Highlight was definitely getting the 5 new players and being able to cross them off the need list. Currently need 12 more players that are on the current roster.

Pearl Jam

Last night Ben, Everett & I went to the Pearl Jam show in Camden, NJ at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.  Pearl Jam hit the stage at about 9:15 and played 2:30 hours a great show sounded great this was my first time seeing them so the set-list could have been a little better no Black or Jeremy so..... But Eddie Vedder voice sounded great and Mike McCready is an awesome lead guitarist, they threw in Eddie Van Halen's Eruption in the set so that was a plus for me.  below is link to the 28 song set-list  and a few pictures  couple of Eddie on the big screen and some full stage.  Not many as I was on the lawn and was back a pretty long way.

I received this Ty Detmer 1997 Bowman's Best # 12 autograph from @JGfan24ever and was claimed for me by @Mackdogking551 so thanks to both for the added autograph to the collection.

Ozzy Osbourne

In yesterday's mail was my purchase from about a month ago of the new Ozzy Osbourne CD Patient Number 9 this was on pre-sale and sold-out. so was glad I got one and probably the only way I'm going to get his autograph at this point.  Nice packaging including folding cover booklet CD & the signed insert.

Purple Friday

Dave & I went to the first of the Purple Friday events for the opening Ravens weekend.  It was at 6 PM on Friday night at Mothers North Grille in Timonium MD.  The main draw for us was 2 alumni player appearances which was Jaime Sharper & Mike Flynn.  In addition local tv crew was filming and there where Cheerleaders and Playmakers also in attendance.  For autographs I got Jaime Sharper on a 3x5, 2 8x10's, a Card & 5x7 he was handing out.  Mike Flynn I got 3 8x10's, 5x7 handout & a 3x5.  1 each of the 5x7 cards the playmakers & Cheerleaders had with them.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

On Saturday September 3rd, Six of us went to Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA for the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert.  They had 2 opening acts in support Thundercat & The Strokes.  Show started at about 6:30 and went to 11PM RHCP had a nice 20 Song 2 hour set would have like to hear probably 4 other songs that weren't on the set-list (Breaking the girl, Aeroplane, Higher Ground & Under the Bridge) but they had a great stage and lighting and put on a great live show so can't complain this was my first time seeing them live so personally wanted all the hits. below are a few pictures and links.

Daughtry & Pop Evil

Mike got a couple free tickets to the Daughtry & Pop Evil Concert at Hollywood Casino & Race Track on August 28, 2022.  It was a good time, great weather for the outside show it was a little hot but not to bad.

Pop Evil I would have preferred a better set-list, but they were ok I've seen them a bunch of times and this was by far my least favorite show by the band.  As for Daughtry I liked him going back to him being on American Idol and this was my first time seeing him in concert and enjoyed him his band and all the songs.  Here are a couple Pictures and link to the set-list for Daughtry.

Staten Island

I went to York to do pre-game autographs of the Staten Island FerryHawks.  I didn't have a lot to get and only got 3 players and 4 total autographs so not a great night but better then nothing.
