Trade with Jeff (2 by 3 Heroes)

I got in the mail these 2 cards from Jeff over at 2 by 3 Heroes the first is a Tom Wilson 2013-14 Panini Totally Certified # 176 and the other is a Jordan Reed 2013 Topps Platinum # A-JRE.  Two nice additions to the collection Thanks, Jeff! I was hoping to get Wilson in Hershey this year but the Capitals kept him and he's never been down to the minors so next best thing.

Flea Market/Marketplace purchase

We have a local indoor Marketplace/Flea Market it has the same vendors set up every week so I don't go to it that often.  But I needed a couple 5,000 count boxes and one of the 2 vendors that has memorabilia has supplies, but I guess It's been longer then I thought because that vendor was gone so I went to the one that has cards he didn't have any boxes but as I was there I saw a box that had $1/each or 6 for $5 it was all Baseball and Football jersey/bat/auto cards so I start pulling cards and have about 40 and ask the vendor if he would take $40 for 80 he said sure so I pulled 80 autographs 43 Football & 37 Baseball a good mix of companies, years some numbered some better then others but for 50 cents each figured it was a good deal. I got home from work today to find a USPS envelope on the kitchen table and a bubble mailer in the mail box.  The envelope had 12 oversize 8x10 football cards and he actually put a note saying he added one not in the auction so was actually 13 for a total cost delivered of $21.06 or $1.62/Ea. The bubble had an Orsten Artis Basketball HOF card he was on the 1966 Texas Western team that was inducted in 2007 the cost delivered on this one was $4.30 not bad to add to the HOF collection.

Charity Alumni Hockey Game

I went to Klick-Lewis Arena in Palmyra, PA yesterday for an event I had heard about on the radio about 3 hours before the 12:30 start time.  The free event was 12 hockey games on the 2 sheets of ice 30 minutes each the teams had to pay/donations to play which is why it was free to the public they also had an auction, raffle etc to raise money which all went towards breast cancer.  They brought in a nice lie-up of alumni for the event a total of 16 players, 15 of them where NHLers and 1 Olympian (Women's Canada).  Here is a list of who was there and what I got signed (68 total items).  I would have been able to get more but half the players I couldn't find on my short time frame to pull stuff glad my older hockey is alphabetical so made that part easy.

I purchased these 3 2007 Bowman Chrome cards the seller had many lots on but this was the only one I won so the price was a little more then I wanted to pay was hoping to win a few lots the S/H was free after the 1st lot but with winning just the one lot the cost was $1.59/each, cards were $1.26 W/$3.50 shipping.
