Gettysburg Bike Week concert # 2 on Saturday July 8th. Dave & I went to see Night Ranger with opening act Throwdown Jones. Night Ranger did a little different set then I had been seeing on Setlist FM as in the middle they did some covers they usually do a Damn Yankees song or 2 due to Jack Blades, but they added 3 more covers for 3 other members of the band and bands they had played in Brad Gillis - Ozzy Osbourne, Keri Kelli - Alice Cooper & Kelly Keagy was in a Doors cover band before Night Ranger.... Honestly never would have thought I'd see Night Ranger cover Crazy Train. Pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteFuji - Brad Gillis Lead Guitarist for Night Ranger is the guy who replaced Randy Rhoads "Gillis left Osbourne's band after completing the 1982 Diary of a Madman tour and he returned to Night Ranger. Gillis can be heard playing lead guitar on Osbourne's 1982 Speak of the Devil live album and on the DVD of the same title"
