I sold some autographed cards on Facebook and as part of the payment I accepted the following 3 Cincinnati Bengal autographed cards all are numbered and of players that played a good amount of time. See below the details of the cards and a picture of them.
I purchased this Richard Seymour Hit Autograph off EBay to add to my Football Hall of Fame autograph collection which now sits at 303 of the 382 members so need less than 80 now to have all of them.
I've needed a Michael Strahan autograph to add to the football HOF autograph collection. Michael is the 302nd different HOFer in my collection I picked this one off of EBay. It's a 2025 Topps signature Class # LCA-MS #'d 08/25.
I needed a Mike Green autograph for the Ravens All-time roster collection, I haven't been able to get him this season at the Ravens games so picked this one up off of EBay.
Today I received a package in the mail that I wasn't expecting as we hadn't completed a trade or anything. With that said it was from Dennis from Too Many Verlanders and it contained 5 Ravens cards 3 where autographs and other 2 were relics & also a Terrell Suggs Ring of Honor pin. Carl Jones Jr. was claimed and signed to the 53 man roster by the Baltimore Ravens on December 8th, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get him in person the rest of the season so I looked on EBay and found a Sage card for less than $3.00 so I won and bought it. See the card below and this will be a place holder in the Ravens all-time roster until I can get him in person.
I was looking for an Art Rooney autograph to add to my Football HOF collection and a little bit ago EBay sent me a couple of $25 off coupon codes so I found one that fit my need and budget and it was a BIN so I did it. The item is a PSA Authenticated and encapsulated 3X5 card, It looks great and is a bold clean autograph in Black Sharpie. Mr. Rooney is my 301st different football HOFer in my collection. I received a couple of $25 off coupon codes from EBay. So I used one of them on this Football HOF autograph that I needed of Ray Nitschke on a Packers pocket schedule and Beckett encapsulated & authenticated. Mr. Nitschke is the 300th different Football HOFer's autograph I have in the collection.
I made an offer for this Bobby Dillon signed 3x5 card that has been in my watched items on eBay for a while and it was accepted. Bobby is my 299th Football HOFer in my autograph collection. Mr. Dillon died in 2019 and was elected into the HOF in 2020, personally I hate when that happens this honor should happen while the player can enjoy being an HOFer and not get put in posthumously.
I wasn't able to go down for autographs last Sunday for the Steelers game but my friend Dave did and was able to get me 3 autographs on 3x5's of guys he didn't need. As luck would have it I needed one and one is an upgrade with the 3rd being a Practice Squad player who hasn't been active yet this season. See the the 3 autos below.
Tonight I went the Hanover Texas Roadhouse Restaurant as they had a meet and greet with former Raven Jermaine Lewis running from5:30-6:30. It was well worth the trip as he was very friendly signed everything talked and took pictures with all that attended the event. I was able to get through the line twice as I had a number of cards and a Friend Jim who couldn't make wanted me to get a mini helmet done for his grandson which wound up being no problem. I was able to get the mini and a total of 20 cards. See the items and pictures of Jermaine below.
Jim gave me this signed Tippy Martinez 8x10 he went to an event and was able to get multiples of this picture signed. This is one of Tippy I didn't have so a nice addition.
Eddie Britton was a wide receiver who was part of the Baltimore Ravens in 1997 and spent the season on Injured Reserve list. So I have needed his autograph since that season as I never was able to get him in person. I found a signed 3x5 on EBay from when he was part of the Colts so I bid and won it so nice cheap add to the collection that has been on my list for 28 years.
Last week Pristine Auctions gave out Coupon Codes different ones each day I was able to use a $25 one for Daily Auction as I had bid and was able to win to Hall of Famers that I needed Hockey Pierre Turgeon 8x10 and Football Frank "Bruiser" Kinard a APBA Game card. It was a pretty good deal as I paid a total of $9.57 for the 2 items delivered after using the coupon. Both came authenticated Turgeon by Beckett and Kinard by CAS-Certified Authentication Service.
Jim & I went to Baltimore today for the Paradise Card Breaks store grand opening and autograph event with Jonathan Ogden (11:30 am) and Rick Dempsey (12:30 pm). Wasn't sure what to expect so we went a little early arrived about 10:30am and we were 20th in line so no problem for the Ogden the first signer. The event was 1 autograph per person but was able to get through the line a couple time and with some help was able to get 4 Ogden's and 3 Dempsey's. Ogden handler Wendy stated no inscriptions but he was doing HOF 13 on everything I had my 30th Anniversary mini helmet wanted "First Ravens Draft Pick" but that was a no go so got the HOF 13 it came out very nicely in silver pen. I bought a signed George Halas Autobiography off EBay. Mr. Halas is the 297th Football Hall of Famer in my collection. See the front and back covers and the inside page that was autographed by Mr. Halas and notes that this is a special autographed fan copy.
I picked up this Sage autograph # 8/10 of DeAndre Hopkins from EBay for less than $5. I needed his autograph as he is a current Raven and I haven't been able to get him in person and haven't seen him sign so this was a great pick up to add to the all time Ravens auto collection. See the card below.
I had sold my tickets to the game so only went for pregame autographing I was able to get 11 players for a total of 20 autographs. The following is who and what I got signed along with pictures of the items along with pics of Tavius Robinson and Michael Oher.
I saw a 1/1 of Dayton Wade who is currently on the IR list for the Ravens. I had recently picked up a cheap autograph of his since I needed one and in searches saw this one and bid and won it total was less than $8 so not bad. The card is a 2024 Leaf Vivid New In... Technicolor # T-DW1 #'d 1/1. Nice card showing him in his Ole Miss uniform.
I needed a Jaire Alexander autograph for the 2 games worth of poor play he gave the Ravens this season. They have since traded him to the Eagles and he has since taken a leave from them and may never play again. I got this 2018 Panini Playbook # 181 from EBay and total cost was about $10.60. He has a crappy autograph but it is what it is I can remove him now from my needed list
Dayton Wade is a current Raven he is on IR for the season so I needed an autograph and I haven't been able to get him in person as I hear he comes in late since on IR. I found this one for cheap on EBay under $3 so figured I'd pick it up. It's a 2024 Sage Red parallel #A-DW4.
I purchased off EBay another current Raven that I haven't been able to get in person so far. This one was a little more then $4. The Card is a 2017 Panini Certified autograph of Chidobe Awuzie #171 #'d 080/199. See the card below.
The Ravens made a trade deadline deal to bring DE Dre'Mont Jones in to help out the defense. I didn;t have his autograph and found one on EBay for about $4 so made the purchase see the card below with him in his College Ohio State uniform.
The Ravens traded for Alohi Gilman a few weeks ago and I didn't have his autograph so I purchased a cheap one from EBay for about $6 shipped. I haven't seen him sign at the couple home games since he's been on the team so figured why not. See a picture of the card below.
I needed a Ryan Cooper as he was with the Ravens for a short time, and I never got him in person. I figured I saw this one on EBay and it wasn't a lot of money so figured I'd buy it.
Someone I know on Facebook went to a Dick's House of Sport in store signing with former Yankee Star Bernie Williams on November 1st. He was able to get 2 handouts signed (Which was all he was signing) so he had one available and we came to a deal with mine arriving in today's mail.
I have needed an autograph of Jermaine Whitehead since he was briefly on the Ravens roster back in 2015. I found one on EBay but it was more than I wanted to spend, but the next day I was offered it at 50% so I bought it. The item is an 8x10 and has him in Auburn Uniform.
