Barry Sanders

About 6 weeks ago just before Christmas I saw a tweet from Barry Sanders account that said if you send a card in he would sign and return so I tried it.  Today in the mail a card came back not the same card as I sent in which it was stated that it was guaranteed you would get the same back so wasn't upset at all was just glad I got the reply and the autograph of a great Hall of Famer. the card that was returned was a 1990 Score Ground Force # 325. great add to the collection.  I did a post of it on X and Barry's account liked it as well!

Westminster, MD Show

Mike and I went to the show today.  It didn't have a lot of what I was looking for but did pick up 5 cards, 6 unsigned 8x10's and 4 signed 8x10's they had a list of signers but I had them all and wouldn't have paid what they price was anyway most were 25 or 30 bucks and was like Rick Dempsey, Bart Scott, Ken Singleton, Ben McDonald etc..... The autographs are listed below that I got where at a great price.

I purchased off of eBay this 2005 Sage #A45 #'d 895/910 DeMarcus Ware to add to my HOF autograph collection. This is my 291st different in my collection.

Commanders Watch Party

Today I meet Ty at Terrapin Station in College Park, MD for a Washington Commanders watch party with former players Gary Clark, Ravin Caldwell & Clarence Vaughn.  John Booty was also supposed to attend but since he played for the Eagles he went to an event in Philly instead he's friends with Gary Clark.  All 3 players were very nice and signed everything for the 3 players I got a total of 31 autographs as Gary killed it as you will see below are pictures of items signed and of each alumni plyer.

X Mailday

I received 2 different PWE's today one from @WhezzyMcNubbins which had 2 needed Ravens autographs first a 2019 Panini Playbook # 153 Trace McSorley & the second was a 2021 Sage Premier Draft of Brandon Stephens # A48 #'d 73/100. The second Envelope was from @ohnomystack and had a Dan Marino and a wrapper with Marino on it for the PC.

Derrick Henry

I won an auction from the Ravens for a Commemorative Ticket Autographed by Derrick Henry.  I didn't get him this season in person so I needed one for the collection.  I figured this was the best way considering the prices I've seen on eBay for his signed cards.  These are Beckett Authenticated and limited out of 10. 

Gene Hickerson

I bought this autographed 3x5 card of Football Hall of Famer Gene Hickerson it's encapsulated from PSA/DNA nice add to the collection and he is the 290th of my HOF autograph collection.  This came from EBay and I used money I got from winning my fantasy football league.

 

Card Show

On Saturday Mike and I went to the Slade Card Show in MD.  I spent a total of $23 for a total of 67 cards mostly Ravens and 9 autographs so for about the price of a blaster.  here is the list of the autographs and pictures of what I got.

Ravens Playoff Rallies

The Ravens held 3 different Rallies last night for the playoffs.  These rallies were at 6 PM, 7 PM & 8 PM at 3 different bars/restaurants in the Timonium/Cockeysville MD area so where about 40 minutes away for me.  I was able to make the end of the 6 PM and the beginning of 7 PM rallies.  At the early rally Alumni players were Jimmy Smith and Bryan Hall and a couple Cheerleaders.  At the later session Alumni players were Michael McCrary(subbing for Jermaine Lewis who couldn't make it) & Pernell McPhee plus Poe.  I was able to get a total of 24 autographs mostly Jimmy Smith who was nice signed all the cards I had and commented on them as he signed one was his first pick six off Peyton Manning, one was airbrushed Ravens uniform over his college uniform and a couple he hadn't seen before was very cool interaction in a laid back situation as they were siting at a table and the line to meet wasn't long and I was towards the end of it getting there later. Steven Sims Jr.

I couple weeks ago the Baltimore Ravens signed Steven Sims Jr. to the 53 man roster so I needed an autograph for the collection.  I figured that since it's near end of the season I probably wouldn't get him in person and he might not be back next season so I looked on Ebay and found and won an auction whcih cost me about $3 shipped so well worth it.
