Thrift Store Pick-up

My wife found these 2 balls at a thrift store on Saturday she paid 25 cents each.  The first is an Official American League baseball with 4 signatures all are easy to tell as I have them all from local signings in the past.  The 4 are Brooks Robinson, Boog Powell, Elrod Hendricks & The (Oriole) Bird.  The other ball has what appears to be 7 signatures but are in thick black sharpie and I don't know any of them so let me know if you recognize any of them. Pictures below of both balls and all 11 autographs. Any time you can get a Hall of Famer for a quarter that's a win.

Adisa Isaac

I made a 1 card purchase from Signatures for Soldiers (@Sigs4Soldiers) on X and I received it today in the mail. He sells autographs with the proceeds going to help out veterans so this was a double great deal added this 2024 Panini Zenith # 102 & #'d 70/99 to the Ravens autograph PC and the money went to a good cause.

Tony Fossas

On Saturday I went to York for after the game autographs was really looking to get Tony Fossas as I have 14 different cards of him he was nice enough to sign a page of 9 and said I'll get the rest tomorrow.  I'm not going tomorrow but should be able to get him in Lancaster.  See the picture below of the 9 he signed.

Staten Island & Lancaster

Over the weekend I went to Lancaster for some pregame autographs I got the 4 players I had cards of for Lancaster and only saw 1 guy from Staten Island which was Blake Rutherford there was others on the roster but didn't see them so maybe hurt.  A total of 5 players and 16 autographs,  See the listing and picture below.

Card Show

This morning I went a local card show in Dallastown, PA.I found a few boxes to comb through and picked up 96 cards 49 of those were Golf cards in bag for $5 so for a dime a piece a no brainer for me hopefully will get some signed.  Also picked up 6 cards for $5 out of a dollar box which include the following 3 football autographs and pulled this Clemens All-Aces out of a 10 for $3 box so not a bad pick up.

Last night I went to York for after the game autographs and saw some post game Fireworks.  I was able to get a total of 11 autographs from 5 different players see picture of the autos below.

Long Island Ducks Part 2

I went back to Lancaster for today's doubleheader with the Long Island Ducks Trevor Bauer was the starter for the first game so he didn't sign before game 1 I was able to get 6 cards from Lew Ford and 4 Cards from Jorge Bonifacio, see below pictures.

Long Island Ducks

I went to Lancaster last night for opening night and pregame autographs of the Long Island Ducks I was able to get 5 players and a total of 22 autographs.  It was drizzling a bit so wasn't great out but good enough to get some done.

York Revolution

I went to tonight's game do finish up what I had for them as 2 players cards came after the Fanfest I went too.  I had 3 cards of Brandon Lewis, 1 card of Nick Dunn also, got Lewis, Derek Wolfe & Joe Harris on the program that has a picture from last years championship team picture after winning it all back to back.  I also received a t-shirt as the stadium giveaway.

Lancaster Fanfest

Yesterday I went to the Lancaster Stormers Fanfest I was able to get the whole team during the 20 minute team signing period see the picture of the roster and those autographs are on the handed out card supplied by the team so many they went to the blank back of card.  The players I had items for weren't  many Noah Bremer 2 cards, A.J. Alexy 2 cards and an 8x10, Mark Johnson 3x5, Phillip Diehl 3x5 personalized & Ben Rosengard 8x10 he was on Team Israel for the WBC.  In addition they had a Wresting demo which was put on by 3LW which is owned by Ricardo Rodriguez who is a former WWF Talent.

Loretta Claiborne

Saturday morning I went to York College for the annual Special Olympics event, I had 2 cards of Local Legend Loretta Claiborne the cards of 2019 Topps Allen & Ginter one was the base and the other a relic she commented that the relic was a running shirt she had provided to Topps. Loretta who is 72 now has been a long time participant and medal winner in all levels of the Special Olympics. I asked during a break between Tennis skills and matches.  See pictures of items signed and her playing Tennis.

Ravens PSL Fan Forum

Last night Dave and I went to Merriweather Post Pavilion for the Baltimore Ravens PSL owner exclusive fan forum.  The forum featured Cheerleader appearances, Legends & New Coaches interviews by ESPN's Peter Schrager, Entertainment by Go Go Gadget,  A Photo Both with former players plus a super bowl trophy and the New uniform reveal with current players, plus at exit you received a pack of trading cards that where produced by the Ravens and featured the new uniform.  The only chance for autographs where the players at the photo booth once the photos ended and they where walking to back stage I was able to get 4 of the 6 alumni players and also got 4 Cheerleaders.  All in all better then I thought it would be as at this venue I assumed no access which was correct but the photos where in an open area and accessible.  See below for some pictures from the event and the autographs I was able to get a total of 9.

Matt Millen was in town for the York, PA Raiders Fan Club.  A friend of mine Mike is on the Board of the club and was nice enough to get me a 1983 Topps card signed by Matt, Nice surprise add to the collection!

York Revolution Fanfest

I went to the annual Fanfest for the York Revolution today this years roster isn't great so far I needed only 2 players which were both former MLBers Chris Vallimont and Joely Rodriguez.  Both were there and I did get them both, they both signed all I had Chris an 8x10 & 3 Cards Joely 7 total 8x10's 5 individual 1 for each team he has pitched in the majors for and the 2 team logos.  See below some pictures from the day and the items signed.
